I like the Gustafsson signing, but I think he will get more.

IMO Avs should accept but I'm sure some fellow fans on here will disagree for cap reasons and others i'm not thinking of. This is one of a few players that doesn't play Center that brings what the Avs were missing this season with Landeskog out. Would be a great long-term replacement if Landy never comes back, too.

He is also a rental. I would like him as a Landy replacement, would have to sort out 2c first. I wouldnt hate Reinhart-Newhook-Rants, but Newhook at 3c is the right spot for him.

yeah, this is one of the better wing options if management decides Newhook is 2c. He'd have a much more successful season with Reinhart, Nuke, Mikko, and Lehky as his wing options imo.

EDIT: also, this is a safe rental if landy never comes back. just pay him Landy's salary.

If the avs had a second round pick I would’ve made the 1st conditional. I was hoping to do it stays a first if he resigns. Turns to a second if he doesn’t stay.
