I'd say that's true for mid level goalies who are a 1b or a solid backup. But Saros is elite and can steal about 9-10 games a season which can make or break a team. However, the Sabres have a great young goalie in Levi who they will be able to fully ride by next year or the year after. If you want a great tandem and a push for the cup why not give up UPL, he hasn't worked really in Buffalo like how Ullmark didn't. But I think that's a little much but has the right idea, idk. But goaltending is not about luck I guarantee you that.

He is the only goalie I would use pick 13 on, supposedly the ask from LA was 2 1st for Saros, or equivalent. This probably is a overpay but the Sabres can afford it. Fabbro has a decent transition game while logging almost 65% Dzone starts. He would be a decent partner for Power, plus he can skate.
