i don’t see why PLD wouldn’t sign here? low tax state and a great young core. trotz wants to have a quick turnaround, and PLD could play with forsberg. give him an 8x8 and we’d be fine.

Not a fan of the package we're giving up. I'd leave it at L'Heureux, Oilers' 1st and a '24 3rd. Jets are in our division after all. I honestly don't see what's going on with the PLD asking prices. He's a 70 pt #2 center(at best) who has attitude issues. Not worth it. I'd steer clear of him. Comparitively speaking, it's not a bad trade, just not one I'd want to make.

A 1/2C power forward who can score 70 a season is exactly we need. sign him long term and add a clause in the last 3/4 seasons. if he becomes an attitude case by then, flip him.
