Cooley was selected third overall last year, has since only elevated his value as a prospect with his stellar play at Minnesota in the NCAA (Hobey Baker finalist), and you want to acquire him for the 8th overall pick in this year's draft straight-up?

I mean, I like Leonard/Dvorsky/Benson/Reinbacher and company, but as of now Logan Cooley is better as a prospect than any of them.

So yeah, sorry but your proposal is unrealistic, and horrible value for the Coyotes in a nutshell.

Heck, Arizona doesn't start considering trading Cooley straight-up with a pick until you get to the top 3 this year, which #8 is far from.

because 8oa this year is comparable to 3oa last year and cooley is clearly hesitant to sign in AZ. it obviously would require that cooley straight up will not sign with them, which is highly unlikely, but part of the fun of capfriendly is coming up with ridiculous proposals
