If Dorion trades a 1st for Scott Laughton, it would cement him as one of the stupidest GMs of all time, just a tier below Milbury

I mean, he traded better versions than Laughton in Nick Paul for Joseph and a 4th, then Connor Brown for a 2nd round pick. Also let go Duclair (ok not same type of player) for NOTHING. He also traded DeMelo for a stupid 3rd when we really needed a RHD like him...

There's just so much of this that shows how bad Dorion is at his job

Yeah, the poster above you is totally delusional. I never saw him before today but DAYUM, the guy is turning down a possible TOP-10 pick for Scott freaking Laughton tears of joy

Hey, what do you know? I mean a much better version in Connor Brown was dealt for a 2nd round pick last off-season (of that was Dorion though), but Laughton is worth 1st + 3rd!

I know but it was obviously at the last deadline where value for certain type of players ridiculously rise... I doubt any GM would be stupid enough to offer a 1st NOW? At least I hope lol

Connor Brown was had for a 2nd round pick last off-season and let's be real, he's much better than Laughton. AFAIK, the NHL is still in a massive cap crunch

Like I said, that would be just another dumb move to cement Dorion's legacy

And you know it doesn't make sense when Bruce Garrioch says it makes sense tears of joy

It doesn't say when the 1sts were offered, it was most likely a few months ago at the deadline. I can't believe any GM with half a brain would offer that NOW in the off-season. Last off-season, look at what Burns, Pacioretty, Bjorkstand and Connor Brown went for. Only stupid GMs like Dorion could fall for this. Briere is smart so he's already playing his cards well.

And before calling anyone dense, dude you look dumb as bricks, so I'd keep it cool if I were you lol

I mean, you could not even figure out what I just explained above by yourself so you stay quiet and be the insipid poster you are meant to be

Nobody is talking about last seasons deadline. Di Marco only tweets about what is happening not what happened. Pagnotta tweeted the Sens HAVE serious interest not HAD. Like you just have to read man 😂😂😂

My time is way too valuable to read "rumors", I'm only interested in facts like the ones I presented (what Burns, Pacioretty, Bjorkstand and Connor Brown went for last off-season). I can believe some GMs offered a late 1st at the deadline but recently? Not going to believe in that until it becomes factual. This is now the off-season and since the market hasn't changed (still in cap crunch), I really doubt GMs find Laughton more valuable than the players named above.

This is not about reading, it's about using your brain
