Kings wouldn't want PLD, especially for Vilardi who was good offensively and elite defensively. PLD has wanted out of almost every team he's been on.

An insider on a Jets message board is saying the Kings are the front runners for PLD and he’ll sign long term there as a sign and trade. Assuming that is a fact and the caphit is something reasonable you wouldn’t do Villardi+ for him?

I'm biased, but I wouldn't. I personally believe that Vilardi has the potential to hit PLD's skill level at the moment with even better defense. If it was another prospect + Turcotte and a 1st, I'd consider it.
