Description
- Hanifin Trade: What is the ask for Hanifin? One year left and he's a legit top 4 defenseman. He seems like he would fit in perfectly with Boston's top 4 as well as make them larger ad harder to play against. Vegas just won the cup using this model of defenseman.

- Ullmark trade: I've seen LA trade for Ullmark on this website a bunch of times so that is why I chose LA. Turcotte needs a change of scenery and the Bruins can add a young center with upside.

- Monahan can't stay healthy but has produced as a top 6 center in the past that's why he only gets 2 million. Turcotte and Merkulov can compete for the 3LW spot. I don't know how much Turcotte has played on the wing but I imagine he would be able to adjust. If Turcotte proves capable you have a future top 6 center.

Bruins and LA likely won’t get a deal done unless you can find another team to retain cap space on Ulmark.

Kings likely need to dump one of Arvidsson or Iafallo unless they go really cheap at goalie anyway, maybe it could be a 3 team deal that has the Kings trade lets say Arvidsson to someone for a 2nd rounder, and then flip that 2nd rounder + a prospect for Ullmark.

Agreed, Kings have too many Forwards making 4mill + and they still gotta sign Vilardi, Kupari, JAD. Cant imagine they keep everyone while signing those guys, all still in needs of a starting Goalie. Arvidsson and Iafallo are the obvious candidates to get moved to help a deal like this.

Overall i think Turcotte and a 3rd would be fair, maybe throw in Grundstrom or something to help make money work

Itd probably take much more than that to swap Grz and Hanafin, one which CGY fans would not be happy with

LAK and ANA trades are solid

really like that u took a flyer on Monahan, still think he could be a good C option

Turcotte is unlikely to be moved after Vilardi broke out last season on the cusp of giving up patience on him. Also, Turcotte was hand picked by Blake moving him for a rental and seeing him break out would make him look pretty bad

The Kings could likely move Arvidsson and Grundstrom, then use the cap space to go after Hill or Andersen without losing an asset. Seems like the smarter move for goalies familiar with the division

Just out of curiosity, what would you think about swapping out Spence for Turcotte in that deal. If Bergeron is back next season getting a cheap RHD in any Ullmark trade would go a long way towards us being cap compliant.

Id gladly take Spence in a return from LAK, but if BOS trades Ullmark, they should be targeting a young C (even if Bergy returns). If theres a trade where BOS could get Turcotte AND Spence for Ullmark, that would be ideal, even if BOS has to add on their side. Ik Kings and their fans really like both of those guys and prob wont trade them
