Give alexander a chance. I think he has a lot of potential to take off this year. Time will tell.

Kings decline.

Kaliyev had 28 points in a limited roll like always. He’s a 30-40 goal guy on the right line TMAC puts him in the dog house for whatever reason (to be honest I’m sick of it).

Also the 2nd is definitely going the wrong way

I’m dumb

Anyways Kaliyev won’t be traded for a project. I don’t want him to be traded but I have a feeling if kings are in on PLD or someone like that he could be gone

Hey he's thinking outside the box which I like. But don't tell me a guy coming off 28 points is scoring 40 next year.

Reasons for this trade,

Gives kings a very good 2/3ld that they need. Very good early 2nd round pick. Saves a little cap too. And Alex is signed two years. Opens up roster spot for forwards. Wasting Kailevs talent.

Gives us a winger that we need that can score goals and has a lot of potential

Very true. I don't know much about Kaliyev. Caps defiantly need to start using young guys like McMichael or else they will end up being solid players for teams like LA.

Kempe scored 29 (14 goals) points in 2020-21, and followed that season up in 2021-22 with 35 goals and 54 points. Not sure why you think it couldn't happen.

Do I think Arty gets to 40? No, probably not barring some injury to 2 RW's ahead of him in the lineup. But given more time (consistent 3rd line minutes) and continued excellence on the power play, I think its feasible to bump his 20 goal pace (13 goals in 56 games from the 4th line) to a 30 goal pace. Especially if his linemates are Kevin Fiala and Quinton Byfield.

Can always appreciate a new idea that hasn’t been regurgitated a hundred times.

I liked Alexeyev when he was with Red Deer, but I think if the asking price is Kaliyev the Kings’ll go with Bjornfot. Hope Alex gets a good chance this season though.

Wilson isn’t going anywhere. Kuzy or Mantha will be moved and hopefully both
