yeah i think this is more of a realistic deal than 1 for 1. Getting rid of the anderson cap hit is more enticing for the habs

Thinking Kent will want something more back, but you may be right about WPG taking the CAP hit. It's a smart hockey / organization trade for both.

The value favours the Canucks but I can’t see Matheson playing in Vancouver because of his history with Pettersson. He’s been like a public enemy in Vancouver ever since then

Nowhere close to getting PLD. Zero chance Winnipeg takes a long term cap dump without being paid to do so, or that fortunately for the Jets, Anderson waives for Winnipeg.

It takes at least a couple 1sts to dump Anderson. No one is paying to take $22 mil of dead cap.
