Yeah I see no reason for the Canucks to make any of these moves also Pearson isn't going to play again so no reason to have him on the 4th line

I like Kevin Hayes but his contract is too much and we just got out of one bad contract so it makes no sense for us. Also Philly isn't competing within the next three years they may as well retain 50% on Hayes and get some actual value for him.

The Kraken aren't going to consider that trade proposal. They have plenty of depth on both wings already and Garland isn't an upgrade on what they already have. He'd be stuck in a bottom six role in Seattle. It makes no sense for the Kraken to trade away Borgen, who is their second pairing RHD, along with a second round pick for an unnecessary winger who wouldn't improve the team in any meaningful way.

You do realise that the canucks have overhauled their entire front office and have done quite well in trades so far, idk where you are getting your recent info from.

Yes signing Miller at 8 million at the expense of Bo Horvat was a fantastic move
Treating Bruce like dog crap also fantastic

The Bruce situation was admittedly bad however Miller > Horvat is and was the right call.

I'd rather have miller at 8 than Horvat at 8.5, Bruce firing doesn't even mean anything in terms of on ice product, Rutherford didn't select Bruce and he gave him a chance during the season and Bruce failed, he got fired and Bruce is still a millionaire so I think he'll be fine. They've done well with the cards they were given.
