It's a fair price for Ceci. Not sure the Habs need him. I'd love to have him in Montreal, but the Habs would need a taker for Wideman.

4 years at 5 million each year ruins any chance a team takes Campbell's contract, even rebuilders. Only way you push that is by overpaying to the point your own team falls apart at the seams.

Even if the price is cheap, I don't think Montreal is a good fit for Ceci. We need stop for our young D coming

I think that’s an overstatement. I could see it not working but Campbell had one bad year and likely rebounds to more of an average starter.

Average goalies are on league minimum not 4 more years at $5M each lol. Nobody is taking on $20M except for a haul.

Then he could probably get moved next offseason, I doubt anyone gambles on a bounce back by a 31 year old goalie making 5 million a year. Plus we also have Petersen making that same money for two more years, so that also decreases our desire for Campbell.
