Sharks fan here and this is a bit of an overpay. Seattle with a fully healthy Karlsson makes them an immediate threat to Vegas.

Seattle would be crazy to move off Wright to acquire EK. I don't much like the idea of the Kraken adding him at any cost, mind you.

As a Seattle fan I view this as a disaster of a trade to me. Too many high end prospects/picks going in the wrong direction when you are still trying to build a talent pool. Probably leaves you looking for a center to replace Wennberg at the end of the 23/24 season, and a replacement for Larsson after 24/25.

Sorry, I believe EK65's year was more an oddity than consistency, just like Sprong's year. First time since 17/18 he's played more than 60 games in the regular season, and as many points as his last three years combined. I think this offer is buying on Karlsson high and not what you'll really get.
