The Sabres probably wouldn't want to include Savoie in this. In that case it would have to be re-jigged for value. Swapping 3 places shouldn't be the biggest thing in the world, unless one of the teams sees a "must have" from their scouts' perspective at 13. Hanifin for Krebs as the other part would need something still, but Savoie is too much. Perhaps one of their 2nd round picks or their 3rd rounder (from LA)?

I still don't think Hanifin is what the Sabres need, I say it every time it's suggested.

Don't see Buffalo including Savoie for a player with no term past this year. Also not sure they can afford him with Dahlin and Power coming up

I tend to agree but I've seen it suggested by writers/pundits they get him to play with Power. Not sure which one they'd have play on his offside at RD.

Interesting idea, if it doesn't work out, oops. I'm sure they're trying harder for Pesce, and maybe Hanifin is a back up plan, among others. Dumba is available as a UFA and would surely come cheaper than either in cap price tag going forward.

Yeah Dumba would be cheaper but that's because he's a tier or two below Pesce and Hanifin. For that matter UFA Orlov is better than Dumba, closer to Pesce/Hanifin than to Dumba and Orlov will be cheaper than Pesce too.

Orlov with Dahlin on the right side would be a fine pairing...

The problem is BUF trying to ideally keep D on their strong side, but already have Dahlin & Samuelsson as 2 lefties paired together
