I really like the way this looks. Maybe Seattle isn't the team that would do that move for Kuzy, but I can see Colorado potentially offering a similar package. The Mantha for Bailey trade is a really interesting idea as well. Not sure how I feel about it but I like the creativity

Isles decline, have no desire for Mantha with that contract and lack of production. Plus the Isles are looking to shed salary, hoping to rid Bailey of asap.

My inspiration for this was the James Neal for Lucic deal a few years back. Teams are overpaying for the amount of production received, the players are looking for a fresh start, and the contracts are nearly identical (Mantha 1yr 5.7 left and Bailey 1yr 5 left).

I understand your thought process. But the isles need to clear Bailey's contract so they can try and re-sign some of their UFAs
