Two 1sts are great but the rest of the trade is useless so I would pass

Järnkrok's numbers were better than those of all of Philly wingers except Tippett and Laughlin. Farabee had the same number of points, but fewer goals and Philly is paying him $5 mil!
You could do worse.

Farabee had a bad year cause he had neck surgery lmao. Stop talking nonsense. How does a 31 year old and 2 bad prospects help the flyers rebuild?

If insurance covers Muzzin salary then AZ would take him & LTIR, but not giving a 2nd to save TML 5.6m cap and robertson isnt move the needle enough. TML can LTIR Muzzin but getting rid helps w offseason 110% and gives TML more flexibility.

Funny how TML fans complain about AZ or other teams take dead cap but when helps them it is ok.

The problem with these deals are people fail to identify what a trading partner is REALLY trying to accomplish in a trade. Philly is rebuilding, simple as that. Briere would rather stockpile picks and prospects then take value over middle 6 guys who’s deals will expire before the team even gets good.

The idea is that Philly would flip Jarnkrok. Not keep him for the duration of his deal. Would likely get Philly a strong return at the deadline.

Calling Steeves and Hollowell "useless" is fairly ignorant also (not you, the other poster). They are young nhl ready players. Both have played well when called up. Flyers fans would love the way Steeves plays. Unfortunately there's something among the Internet Hockey Community that unless it's a big name bluechip prospect, its "useless".

Two 1sts, and a player you'll be able to deal for atleast a 2nd, and two young nhl ready players, is a pretty strong return for Konecny.

I'm sure you're right about him. If you think that post was trolling, you've had an inordinately positive experience on these forums.
The point is that you could use the scoring, with only three decent forwards, all of which would be third liners on a serious contender (which Toronto might be the least serious of, but still, finished 7th in the playoffs).

Sure. I'm crazy, and Philly makes the Playoffs this year and Toronto makes it to the cup final.
