Additional Details:
Scheifele wants to be moved. Canucks can potentially resign him depending on costs. But even if he walks the Canucks shake Garland and Boeser Contracts. Add any sweetener for Winnipeg if needed. Also, Garland is great Blue collar player that Winnipeg fans will love and Boeser needs a relocation where he can be a goal scorer and get lots of playing time and opportunity.

I wouldn't do that. With Miller signed for 7 years, with the plan for him to be our 2C, I wouldn't bother looking at Scheifele. I will however say that, aside from the idea of Schiefele, the team looks pretty good.

Cap Dump? its more then that. Its a first round pick and a third. A middle six winger (boeser) and a blue collar winger (Garlund/who is a cap dump) but the fans in Winnipeg would love him.

Check this out...Horvat was traded for a 1st round pick, a middle six winger, and a decent prospect. Horvat was 27 years old with 38 goals, two way player, fast centre. Marc Scheifele is 30 years old (32 when his contract expires). His next contract will be less then what he is getting paid now. How many teams are looking for a 310year old centre? Ill be very impressed if Winnipeg gets a better return for Scheifele then Vancouver got for Horvat.

Lets give even more and throw in a prospect. You still think this is just a cap dump deal?

Im starting to think the Canucks are over paying. LOL!
