Klingberg was a defensive liability last year and I doubt we'd grab him IMO. NSH probably wants something other than top 9 RWs, like goalie prospects.

Just to be clear, Boston needs to clear cap. Frederic MIGHT end up being traded as part of that cap clearing. Same with Ullmark, Swayman, DeBrusk, Gryz, Forbort, Hall, whatever. The Bruins need to clear 5 million. Trading Ullmark means they don't need to deal Frederic, for instance. Right now Boston seems obsessed with getting bigger on the blue line. Don't see a fit with Rathbone.

A canucks goalie prospect like Koskenvuo or Young won't make NSH's goalie tandem in the next year lmao. I understand that Garland would help VAN w the cap but I think this trade isn't optimal for both teams. Although the 1st rounder sounds enticing lmao
