I’d only sign Wheeler IF he’s dirt cheap and Kane doesn’t want to re-sign for cheap. Wheeler is going to be 37 end of august and I doubt he has much left in the tank

He has lost some speed, and skill, but he will still be a good addition on the third line of a contending team if the contract is around a million per.

At that amount, could probably add him AND keep Goodrow. Not a bad option.

Prime example of what we Don'T want! Slow in his prime now a senior, bad news bears captain/leader, passenger like Panarin, Kane, Senko. Buying out glue Goodrow for an expensive floater would shift us back to those embarrassing times
