Why would the flames accept? Toffoli is quite a bit better than Garland and he makes less money. I think he could be moved at the deadline for a 1st if he has a good season. Agree Vegas declines. And Canes probably would accept.

The only reason I could see Calgary considering is if they don’t want to go full rebuild and try to move their pending UFAs for guys with term

That isn't what a rebuilding team would do at all. They'd sell him at the draft for a 1st.

Yeah if they go rebuild then they wouldn’t consider it. I was saying if they didn’t want to rebuild but rather still try and compete since they signed Huberdeau, Kadri, and Weegar to those big deals that they’d maybe consider it to acquire a guy with term
