Just bored.

I have been team Addison to Detroit all summer, why stop now.

Vladar trade because its the most civil DET/CAL trade recently and that is the one area I just have zero clue what could happen.

Simple RFA deals, some teaching UFA signings which could be slight overpays (SY does that if it won't hurt long term)

Have the taxi squad rolling if the players are deserving. Glenny is meant to be there to teach. 34 years old and in the playoffs when it mattered he takes draws for Dallas. Teach guys like Veleno, Ras, Fabbri, Kasper how to dominate draws.

Have Killorn teach Burgers, Raymond, Mazur, Soda, Kasper how to be consistent point producers. Build his stock with huge ice time and points and re-coup value later, or treat like Perron.

Mayfield seems like a decent choice on the back end, and again Detroit can afford to overpay in FA.

That Mayfield contract would be a liability in two years or less.

It could be, depends on how organizations' view his regression I would imagine.

It could be a band-aid fix when it doesn't need that much as well.

Making this I didn't really think about RHD as much due to the draft being so close. Fork in the road depending on if SY goes "Seider-mode" again or if he goes offense.

EDIT: Who do you think the FA will be? Someone younger or a trade for a stop gap?

That’s fair, I could see it being a bit rich for what value it brings back.
