Pass on Pacioretty as of right now. Broberg would be nice if we didn't have to give up one of our best prospects. I don't think we should trade Howard. I'm fine with moving on from Maroon if Bellemare or Perry aren't brought back. He was our #12 last year.

idk i think patches could be an underated add, he didnt look bad in the 5 games he played last season and if the gamble pays off and he is still a point per game player then that is a huge addition. Perry is testing free agency so he is not coming back and while I like bellemare I just think I would rather have phillips. I still think howard has tons of potential, I am only trading him because I really want broberg and howard would not be on the roster until like 25-26 at the earliest. With our development staff and Hedman as a mentor I think broberg could do really well in tampa.

Gotcha. Didn't hear about Perry testing the market. With him gone, Bellemere should go too. The only reason I would want him is if the school bus stayed together. Oh no, I agree with you. Broberg would be an excellent addition. If we could figure out how to get him without moving Howard that would be mint. I see your point, and he did play well last year in the 5 games, but Pax seems too risky to me. High risk, high reward.

Sharks are not doing that. We will add a prospect with size with that pick and Howard is smaller than Eklund even. Howards numbers in college were not very promising, maybe switching to Michigan helps him this year but not good so far.

It definitely should help him. Back with his old coach and it will basically be his team to run as he's the best player on the spartans by quite a large margin.

Yeah outside of Howard Michigan State looks pretty lousy.

They had a pretty average season, which was somewhat of an accomplishment given how bad of a team they had on paper last year. They hung in quite a lot of games with teams who were far superior to them. They had a couple freshman and sophomore kids who had promising seasons so that's something to be optimistic about. It certainly will be more beneficial to Howard's individual development rather than the teams. He will get as much ice time and puck touches as he wants. Should be good for improving his work ethic though. One things for sure, they really need to find some adequate talent for him to play with.

I liked him a lot in his draft year. Sharks are in need of size with that pick and can likely get their choice of Musty, But or Stramel there. No diss to Howard by any means. Lightning really need him to develop well as they will need as many effective ELC’s as they can get.

Definitely But for the higher ceiling. Could still land Stramel or Halttunen at 36. Going to be a very interesting and transformative draft for San Jose.

Sharks aren’t doing that in a deep draft. If it was a top 4 RD prospect maybe

hes a promising 2-way defenseman that has lots of speed and responsible defensively, will probably make tampas roster in the 24-25 season. The other sharks fan also said they were interested in big forwards, we also have finley who is a 6'6 center, hes only 20 but so far has looked pretty good. If neither prospect looks good then thats cool just trying to test things out

I just think in a deep draft this year that has players like Cristall, Brindley etc that would be there at that pick I just don’t think the sharks move it unless they are moving up
