Krug isn't waiving for any Canadian team. I'd only see him waiving to come home to Detroit. But unless Yzerman moves out say Chiarot we don't have a spot for him.

There wouldn't really be much leverage for Philly to get value out of Krug. Idk if they will retain or not but maybe they can trade him for Bailey in a 1 for 1.

Or maybe Krug for Martinez if Vegas wants to get a bit younger.

I don’t know, I think they would not like tying up 2 of their retain spots for 3 and 4 years (Hayes and Krug) but it’s the deepest draft in how long stacking as many 1st as you can get in it to jumpstart a rebuild is the way to go imo

No. The rumor is Krug exercised his NTC for Philly and now Briere is trying to find a third team that would not be on Krug's 15 team NTC list. At his age, I'm guessing he would only want playoff teams and wants nothing to do with rebuilding.
