All of these trades (except that NJD trade!) would be declined by the opposite party of the Avs, and im not sure any of them make the Avs any better. RNH would be fun but not at that blueline cost. Manson has a NMC anyway.

Well Toews has 1 year left and probably won’t be resigned. Mansion’s dad is a coach for the Oilers so that’s why I picked them as he would be more likely to waive there instead of most places. I had to trade him to afford Mayfield. I also have picks left so obviously deals could be sweetened.

Hawks only make that deal on Wednesday on the draft floor if there is a player they love still on the board at #27.

According to a couple of AV's fans, it's two fold. One is to beat up anyone who messes w/ Bedard. Two is because he's so bad he helps us get a better draft position next year by being in the lineup.
