For what Hartman does on what has to he the best value contract in the NHL (let that debate begin), I think Guerin does better than a 1st tbh.

As a Leafs fan, I would match that 1st and add on a prospect in a heartbeat.

If it's a late 1st, it should be more. Hartman is a total sparkplug that produces. Even if that contract were double, the return doesn't change. He scores, he hits, he plays 200 feet. All for $1.7 million.

Basically does what PLD does (ok, maybe 15 points less lol) for what looks to be $6 million LESS.

Hartman should be extended by MN, not traded

I think both are TDL trade chips. Foligno I guess could go sooner, but it sounds like that's not likely.

Hartman though they def gotta wait on - too useful and too cheap to trade before the season even begins.
