THis puts OTT into the playoffs for sure. OTT fans will complain about including Pinto, but you gotta give to get.

The Sens can’t afford to give up Pinto and those picks. The prospect pool is damn near dry. They’re better off going for a goalie who will cost less to acquire or rolling the dice on a UFA.

That's fair enough, but the UFA market is large, but a crap shoot. Personally, I think they still have a pretty good pool.

If they do go for a FA then it should be Blackwood. He'll be low pay and he used to be thought as one of the top young goalies in the NHL. So a low risk and possible high reward

Too injury prone and inconsistent IMO.

True but that's why he's low risk. He won't cost much and if he does end up doing some good they could trade him for picks at the draft if they don't make playoffs. Sign him to a 1 year deal at 1.25 mil or a 2 year at 3 mil
