A 31 year old center signed for 3 more seasons @ 7.1 and over the last 3 seasons has not hit 20 goals, playing 17 min a night, he is not worth anything really. Oh and Philly traded a 5th round pick to get him and you want more?

Stop with Sanheim to (any team) nonsense. 6.25m Xn 8 is no bargain. Leafs would be infinitely buying out Murray and keeping Timmins at 2m, keeping Robertson and the 1st and haveing 8m in cap rather than trading for Sanheim and Hayes.

Ah yes the ol Robertson, Timmins and a first deal. What an enticing offer! Maybe sweeten it with Kerfoot or Holl, maybe even Ty Voit!

They traded a 5th for his signing rights, not for him. Hayes could've just said "lol no" and left. I'd take Robertson and a 1st for him easily, as I see a return for Hayes being a couple of mid round picks. Timmins could be a decent piece to take on that year of Murray. If the Flyers truly want to dump Sanheim before his security is in effect than this deal is probably one of the somewhat better ones they can get.
