That’s an overpay for rental Scheifele and DeMelo would also be a possible rental

Schneider should/will be Trouba’s replacement so no thanks

Rangers better win this year with that trade or they are screwed in the future. WPG ownership probably is not allowing Chevy to rebuild.

There is only one elite player in that group....and that's Hellebuyck. But that's a big overpay for one year of Hellebucyk. Lots of good goalies available in UFA.
Who is the other elite player? No one. If you mean Schefiele, he's a career 75 point player per 82 games. Goodrow doesn't waive for Jets anyway.

Scheifele just scored 42 goals and he had 6 seasons in a row with a ppg or more. He’s a 1C on several teams and or a top of the line 2C on almost every other.

Do you know how much I care? Rangers arent trading a cost controlled, 21yo future top 4 dman and 2 1st round picks for Mr “do you know who he is”. Rangers will buyout Goodrow, problem solved.

It's still and overpay and not cap compliant as no way Goodrow waives for Jets.

They could buy him out instead that’s not the issue. Then it just becomes the 2024 1st. It’s fair value for both teams and I despise the Rangers and would never want to see them get this good. Drury isn’t dumb though and he puts that team in the best place to win.

Believe me I hate the Rags and don’t want this to happen but your GM is no idiot and he tries to win. Why do you think he’s made trades for Kane, Tarasenko, Vatrano, and Copp the last 2 seasons? It’s not because he cares deeply about the future.

You think its the GM pulling the strings? Shows how much you know about the Rangers. Regardless, the Rangers arent doing this. Its either a simple trade or a buyout.
