That’s definitely not the answer. Girard’s value using Hronek at the very least not to mention what Newhook just got is at least a 1st and 2nd, Olausson is a recent 1st so you want to trade the equivalent of 4 1st rd picks and a 2nd for a winger and a 3C? Yeah I’d rather not do that at all.

Is that not a huge overpay on COL's side? I'd accept that in a heartbeat if I'm the Flyers just for Olausson and the 2 firsts. MacDermid's an expiring and Ill take Girard now with Provy and maybe Sanheim gone.

Gotta give to get. Konecky is a 30-30 guy, and Laughton at 3 years for 3m is good for a 3C who can PK well. Both were 1-2 in TOI among Philly forwards last year. But also below reply...

Maybe Philly retains some on Konecky or you take out a 1st/OO, but the main idea is there. Neither of those changes would affect the layout of the roster for this coming year.

I think the whole point would be to keep in the 1st and OO, so i would say add retention and i think becomes a more balanced transaction.

Done deal for me.
