Is he supposed to play? Because we already have to clear out a goalie to make room for Wolf

Not a Flames fan (Leafs fan). I don't see the motivation for Calgary to trade Coleman if they have to retain his salary. That would really up the cost because it is clearly in Toronto's favour

You can just buy him out pretty easily right after, only 600k dead cap this season, Leafs just can’t cause it is a 2 mil deadcap next season

What if no retention & they just take Murray instead of having to retain on anyone

But then you have to pay Coleman's cap for the remainder of his contract. Have you just not been paying attention to his play in Calgary? He's just not worth his cap.
