Petry to San José is a no go. He would like to be closer to his family in Michigan. Chicago, Columbus, and Detroit are the logical destinations.

don't believe carter can go on taxi squad, and if he does his full cap hit is still on the books.

Don't think Bunting is pittsburgh bound with Smith here now, but could be wrong. Also don't really know if poulin is in the lineup.

Teddy can't be 3c either.

Who would Calgary like to lose between Tanev and Hanifin?

the report this morning from Seravalli is that SJ and PGH are working on a deal to send Petry there, so who knows.

I was thinking after Smith’s contract expires, Bunting can play with Geno or Crosby. Smith and Bunting can switch from time to time as well. And you’re right, I was thinking of signing E-Rod as our 3C anyway lol, although I’d love to see Compher but I doubt it

Between Compher and Rodrigues, who is the better goal scorer and point producer?

I'd probably rather try Erod. Compher goes dark in playoffs, but Erod can be streaky through the year. its a toss up really. Erod most likely cheaper as well.

They both have similar stats, somewhat. Compher had a better regular season with career high of 52pts, 82gp, but was a no show in the playoffs, and Rod did great in the playoffs however, and a good regular season too but had an injury bug, 39pts (with less games, 69gp, he might’ve had the around the same points as Compher)

Rod was a fan favourite in Pittsburgh. I wouldn’t mind either of em as our 3C.

With their cap situation, the best they can receive is probably a 2nd

Disappearing in postseason play is a problem. (Ask Guentzel.) That would be a concern for Compher.

Rodrigues should have been retained for the 2022-2023 season. It is time to right a wrong by bringing Rodrigues back.

Ask Guentzel when he last scored in postseason play often. Did he disappear? Yes.

Please tell me you're trolling lol. Please.

He literally scored 8 goals in 7 games the last time they were in the playoffs. So instead, why don't you ask yourself what you're talking about lol. Did he disappear? No. Clearly he didn't

He's a notoriously good playoff performer.
