defending Danielson at 9

Created by: gdhvbhfbngf
Team: 2023-24 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 28, 2023
Published: Jun. 28, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
What is Yzerman looking for in a C?

- Elite skating
-6’1 (185cm-186cm)
-200ft player
-20 goals, 40-50p

Apart from 1C, they are not expected to score 35+ goals every year. The wingers are much more relied upon for scoring.

The fact that Danielson is right handed, makes him a tactical advantage for faceoffs match ups.

I wouldn’t pick him at 9, but I get why they did it. Such a shame Leonard went at 8

I am well aware that Holland destroyed Detroit, hence why I'm not crying about the length of the rebuild; you're doing the complaining for me (for some reason lmfao).

I'd rather have Kasper than Savoie, not really a hot take either. I'd prefer Benson over Danielson, though.

It sure does help a rebuild when you're given lottery luck and a prospect pool that contains more than Berggren.

Thanks btw for taking the cap dump in Yamamoto that no one would touch and it only the Oil cost a 4th liner. Keep building that depth in Dtown. Looking promising

That was surprising for sure, but what would’ve the cost been for Kostin? 3rd? He scored 11G in 57GM with 10 min TOI and he hits & fights. Yama would probably cost a 2nd to dump, but Yzerman gave his mentor discount
