Only surprise for me is having Protas that low. Same draft class as McMike with more AHL production and higher favor amongst the organization.

Yeah I mean honestly I think Mcmichael, Lappiere, Suzdalev, and Protas are all within the same range. I think Mcmichael can have a Morgan Frost development curve and be like a 50-60 point guy, not an elite scorer but works hard and grinds for points. I just frankly can't see Protas becoming more than a 3C if he still doesn't get more powerful (Hes strong just doesn't play with power). Then I think Lappiere honestly tops out as a 3rd line wing and then Suzdalev has some more elite skill where he could be a top 6 winger if it all works out for him

Was surprised too

I think Protas is an everyday NHL player (bottom 6), but McM might have more upside (at most, 2c)?

Is this based on ceiling? If not only change I would make is swapping McMike and cristall. McMike will be a NHLer while Cristall needs to improve his skating first. Cristall has a much higher ceiling

Yeah I think Mcmichael Probably has the highest floor of any of them seems like hell been an everyday NHLer for years. But Yeah you're right, if Cristall hits he is number one on this list, and I think his skating isn't that bad his edge work is actually unreal it is his top-end speed that he struggles with but given we have Wendy Marco(Unreal skating coach) I think he will easily get his top end speed enough for the NHL and I couldnt be happier about that pick
