Kind of hope they go buy a Center, maybe a rhd dman in free agency. Possibly another year and another million on vilardi and try to shine him up for jerseys and billboards going forward. I’m hoping for a term and cash gamble on samberg and some more moves.

Leafs fan here so I definitely could have details wrong. But there are no prime top 6 c's in Ufa. And because of the lack of people the few will likely be overpaid. Compher is closer to Lowry than a 2c but will be paid like a high end 2 c likely as there is no one else

Jets usually head for the bargain bin, couple randoms that make a ton of sense, and give you a ahhh that’s what they were thinking after the fact moment. Possibly the Russian they picked up at the deadline comes back, namelstikinov spelled that horribly, maybe an answer from within also for both. Just not liking the idea of pushing too many guys from the wing to Center. Bit of a hole left by Dubois departure.

I think the hope is one of Lambert/perfetti (if not both) turn into high end top 6 c's eh?

Mcgroaty and lucious also, probably both a couple seasons away, perfetti a little light and slow for Center in my opinion, lambert looked good in junior, but probably needs a half year in ahl, so some stopgaps needed. Especially if scheifele is headed out of town or to the wing. Vilardi is another option, but just nice to have extra to try throughout the lineup.
