    JAD's qualifying offer was 787.5k. I think if they were planning to keep him they would have just qualified him, 12.5k is hardly worth fretting over cap wise

    Zach Dooley, The Kings official blogger, said the Kings are still working with JAD on an extension like they did with Taylor Ward (who also was not qualified, and then re-signed).

    Maybe, seems strange not to qualify him then. was he arbitration eligible and they were afraid of verdict there?
