Question from a non-leafs fan: Why is Rielly not part of the "Core"? He was their best player in the playoffs, showing up to actually play, he appears to want to stay in Toronto long term, took a team friendly discount. And yet the Core 4 is always just those overpaid forwards

Right now Los Angeles is $1.5 million over the cap, and Tobias Bjornfot doesn't even count against that total, so this transaction would add more than $6 million to our tab.

LAK would never do that, Brodie isnt worth a 2nd and especially to EDM, Valimaki deal could work potentially.
