If that is what Shatty consts, and I'm sure it is at least that, then I don't want him. Let the young D get their shot and make a deal at the deadline if you have to. Shattenkirk is not worth that contract. Not even close.

Not sure the point of unloading contracts by Yzerman, just to make a cap hell decision to sign Shattenkirk.

You just undid all the work Yzerman had done by screwing your team in cap hell on the Shattenkirk deal
