Palmieri was on a 50 point pace and had a solid playoff performance. His contract isn’t the best, but it’s certainly not so bad that it has negative value. That said, the Isles loudly have been kicking tires on DeBrincat and Lou has uncharacteristically announced his signings in a way where it’s known that we have little cap space. I think the Isles will have to settle for a lower pick than they usually might for Palmieri.

The Kraken need forwards right now and easily have the cap space to pull this off. But I’d be shocked if there were literally no teams interested in a cheap Palmieri.
