he played 69 games (nice) last season, I know his injury history is concerning but he would make a killer 3d RW and Holtz and slot right in or marinate a little longer in the A.

For sure he'd be a great add for many teams. All I'm saying is he was probably looking for a bigger contract than teams were willing to offer. Now that most teams have spent their cap space a team with some flexibility like Jersey can probably pick him up for cheap on a short term deal (which IMO is a far better situation than getting him early with term).

yeah true. I guess it depends on what he wants to do. His estimated career earnings is around 62 mill; he should be at the stage where he takes a sizeable pay cut (not veteran min obv) and go to a contender.
