It seems like it’s more and more likely we are the front runner to landing him, Carolina seems out to me considering they just acquired Tarasenko last night, though if they want him they could certainly do it but I don’t get the sense they are really all in on EK.

I think Carolina and Seattle have an easier path to getting him. However, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were an Iginla situation where the player (Karlsson) is heavily dictating the team he wants to play for and he can do that with his NMC.
