Perfect realistic squad for next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>YTSnipeCity</b></div><div>Personally I'd rather Gustafsson than Cole, he's cheaper and is doing work for us right now. Hopefully Allen does stay only cuz he's the best backup we've had since like 2010</div></div>
He'S good on the pp but coaches don't trust him 5 on 5. Id rather get a player very similar to chiarot and edmundsson so the top 4 gets lower minutes during the season

Lmaoooo that's funny, Detroit isn't going to be competing for anything at least another 3 years. Bertuzzi is also coming back from a back injury. Asking for Caulfield is delusional

Retool get younger and faster
Not sure why you say that lol, Ottawa is always at the cap floor or close to it so they need salaries to be compliant. Besides, a 2 time stanley cup winning young goalie is a good consolation prize to basically take on jack johnson as the other 2 guys cancel each other out. Plus when Bjugstad is healthy again you guys can flip him at the deadline for a pick.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BurnEmUp</b></div><div>Can the Flames send back Rittich and take on Bjugstadt as a cap dump?
I'd be happy with Murray and even happier if the Flames could get him extended long term (6 or 7 years) for about $5.5 to $6.0 million per.
End the goalie carousel once and for all and have him through his prime years.</div></div>
That works for Pens also!

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CHUG</b></div><div>Is a really good team, but you'd be losing a very good player for nothing next year in the expansion draft. The rebuild is gonna be painful for this squad too.</div></div>
I think Pens would offer incentive to Seattle to take Hornqvist, which would help us cap wise to sign rfa's. As for the rebuild, i don't see them even thinking of that as long as Sid and Geno are playing. Besides this team isn't old
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Just because you stole us blind in the pettersson - sprong deal doesn't mean we're going to let you do it again.</div></div>
I mean Anaheim is rebuilding so trading Rakell does make sense.. Poulin (our top prospect) and a 1st is a good return in my eyes. Tbh id be willing to go even further and add our 2nd best prospect in Filip Hallander as well.

Rakell and Subban
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Pens3lieve</b></div><div>Yes to Rakell.
No to Expensive 3rd pair D who has friction with our captain who’s only a top-5 player all time and the most important player in the NHL.</div></div>
Sid would be the first guy to put aside personal beef for the good of the team.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Yojimbo</b></div><div>Buys out Johnson... gives $2M more, plus the Pens top trade Chip, for broken Subban.</div></div>
Saying Subban is broken is a stretch. He had a bad season, sure. But he played for the god damn devils. Although no where near the reclamation project Schultz was before arriving, pens coaching staff can work with him in regards to some of his tendencies that are not always appreciated.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>swinny</b></div><div>Sidney is great, but top 5 all time? I dunno about that.
Gretzky, Lemeiux, Orr, Howe, are easily ahead of him in that discussion. We can start to debate Richard, Harvey, Brodeur, Selanne, Bourque, Hull, Ovie, Roy and Lidstrom - just to start. Second tier discussion includes Mahovolich, Dryden, Sakic, Bossy, like another 20 Habs from the 50s-60s, Espositio.....
Yup. Top 5 is a huuuuuuuuuugggggggeeeee stretch.</div></div>
I guess you should go tell that to all the former star players, current star players, analyst etc.. Dumb comment. Sid is easily top 5.

Tatar 28, Petry 31, add a 1st to the deal if you want. Fair trade. Hall got 1 year left on his contract and has made it known he’s not resigning. In return, jersey gets a top 6 forward, a top 4 dman as well as a first.. they can easily flip those guys at the deadline if they wanted also
