I don't see Boyle going that cheap or at that term. He may go over 3 M x 3 years, very responsible defensive center with size who will be looked at long and hard by every competitive team.

Just some quick side comments on thinking here:
- GMJR was asked yesterday about Cullen and he seemed to have a smile to his face when asked if he was returning. Interesting to follow that one.
- I kept the D intact. I looked at UFA's available and really only Shattenkirk is appealing but having Letang kind of ruins that idea.
- My trade with Boston is based off some noise where Boston is shopping him and Pens have some expendable offensive players. Added draft pick to sweeten deal.
- Signed Brian Boyle. Think the guy will show his veteran leadership and guide Pens to 3rd cup. Kind of my version of Jumbo Joe talk that has been circulating.

The wildcard in all of this for the Pens is how much it takes to resign Dumo/Schultz/Sheary. If any of them are higher than I have here it limits our UFA options. I think if we lose Schultz for example we sign Bonino. If we don't sign either we go ape **** and trade for Duchense LOL just kidding but you get my point.

Please comment/feedback.

Yeah Boyle is kind of a wildcard. I was looking for a 3rd line center that doesn't necessarily need to have crazy offensive skill a la a cheaper version of Bones.
