Murray can't go on LTIR, he was healthy enough to be the backup in the playoffs and was cleared to play.
If the Leafs manage to pull that off, it would be the most blatant attempt at cap circumvention of all time lol.

The Leafs will end up having to either play him or trade a 2nd rounder like how the NYI did to get rid of Bailey

Agreed - basically they need to get rid of that salary 100%, because the buyout option helps but still costs them $$$.
