I added Carter, who could waive because SJS flips him retained elsewhere or he stays because he lives in California in offseason, and a 3rd to take him. I am okay swapping O’Connor with either Nylander or Lagare as well.

Oh my God.... Imagine thinking San Jose will trade you Karlsson, retain $4mil per year, and take your cap dumps of Carter and Granlund - all for a 1st and 3rd round pick?!?!?! No dog in the fight but this has to be the most preposterous trade ever submitted on here.

Also - agree with poster above, no interest in Joseph

The EK65 delusions in Pittsburgh are getting pretty bad. SJ is taking one and only one cap dump back.. Petry, Granlund or Carter not multiples

Would assume they'd pick Petry all things considered, but why on earth would SJ retain $4mil for multiple years?

I think Grier wants some kind of return on futures. He's going to have to retain 3-4M to get that kind of return. 2.5M is not going to get them much more then a cap dump and 2nd
