Description

Options ranked in order of how likely I think they are:
1. Levi and UPL
2. Offer sheet Swayman - Even if Boston matches, you force them to have over 9M between 2 goalies for the next 2 seasons
3. Trade for Ullmark - I don't think Boston trades him, especially not in the division
4. Trade for Gibson - Unlikely, as he has a relatively high cap hit for the next 4 seasons and hasn't been great in a few years
5. Trade for Hellebuyck - Very unlikely, as it will cost a lot to acquire him. Also needs a new contract and they won't want to sign a 30yr old to a long term deal

FWIW I think its very unlikely that they don't go with Levi and UPL. Let me know what you think in the comments.

An offer sheet for Swayman is interesting, but they almost never happen, and Boston would easily match that. I like Gibson as a realistic option, as the acquisition cost should be pretty low, and Anaheim would almost certainly have to retain on his contract. I am more confident in Gibson returning close enough to form than UPL getting significantly better. Gibson could be the perfect veteran mentor for Levi.

I agree, although its more than what many Boston fans (at least in ACGM) think he'll get. If Boston matches, then you force a division opponent to carry more cap. If they don't then you get a goalie for the next 3 years.

Completely agree!
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen needs to be more consistant while Levi had one bad game last season.

Sabres are not bringing in another goalie. After Adams Presser he was confident in Levi UPL and Comrie going fwd. I do think he may be looking to get a Pesce or another Fwd. I think there may be a 3 way deal for Pesce with SJ with Sabres getting Pesce Car getting Karlsson and SJ getting picks and prospects
