How did Otto look?

Like a pain to play against. His line with Dean seemed to be all over pucks.

They seem super high on Pekarcik, who I am pretty sure will play in the QMJHL next year. Stancl should be moving to the WHL too. Without counting Tucker, Hofer, Alexandrov, and Neighbours, I’d rank our pool:
1) Dvorsky
2) Snuggerud
3) Bolduc
4) Dean
5) Stenberg
6) Lindstein
7) Buchinger
8) Pekarcik
9) Loof
10) Kessel

We should have 3 picks in the top 60 again next draft, I’d like the take a RD with our first that can replace Faulk in 4 years. Then I’d like to get a true RW and G in the 2nd round. My ideal thought process for our future core would look like this 4 years from now:

Bolduc - Thomas - Snuggerud
Neighbours - Dvorsky - Kyrou
Stenberg - Dean - Buchnevich
Lindstein - Parayko
Perunovich/Buchinger - Mews (2024 1st Round Pick)
Hofer - Zherenko/Drafted G

I just have gut feel, what stenberg can become Steen 2.0 for us. And what about Jake? He progressing? Lately everybody wants trade him away.

And possibly even more TOP 60 picks if we trade Vrana and Kapanen at TD 2024. I could see even 1st round pick for Vrana (if 30 goals season or something like that), at minimum 2nd rounder.

Great point! I think Vrana we need to put with Thomas and Buchnevich and get him a lot of points. Trade him with retention at the deadline for something solid.

Yes. 24/25 should be ready Snuggerud, Bolduc, Dean and maybe Dvorsky so it will be interesting. Really solid team. If right moves we should be back in contending in around 3 years I would see 💪🏾 Army must solve defense, but I believe he will. Thomas, Kyrou at their peak years, Buchnevich and top prospects (hopefully) ready in full time roles and lot of cap space for FA players. It should be around 92 milions in 2025/26 season. LGB!

And honestly I was taking a look through FA defense the next few years and I don’t love any of them. So if we need to retool next year and the year after and start contending in 2025-26 like you said. Let’s do it!
