I think schmid is ready now. Don’t see much need for halak.

Just extra security tbh. If you sign Halak, you have 5 goalies in the system that can play at the NHL level:

- Vanecek
- Halak
- Schmid
- Daws
- Källgren

I also don’t want Schmid to absolutely light it up this year and then require a 6x6 extension. Need him to be cost controlled for a few years
