Bahl will not be a prospect in the 2026-2027 season. He’ll have 4-5 years of NHL experience by then lol

He's on the verge of being a bust. The Hawks have better options so there's no need to waste prospects on him.

On the verge of being a bust? He knocked Ryan Graves out of the lineup in the playoffs against our division rival. Fitzgerald has continuously praised him all offseason and says the Devils view him as a staple in the lineup moving forward. The only reason I moved him here was for cap reasons; he’ll likely receive 3.5-4m on the next contract following a 2-3 year bridge deal. I didn’t move him because he’s bad, quite the opposite. The Hawks should have thinks somewhat turned around by 26-27 and adding a stable shutdown dman for an affordable AAV will be something they look to do. Can’t just have all kids playing

By 26-27 they'll have a combination of Vlasic, Del Mastro, Kaiser, Allen and Phillips on the left side who will be doing just fine. And by then they won't be kids any more. I think the Hawks are fine on the left side moving forward.

The Sabres do NOT want Vanecek
We already have 3 goalies, not gonna trade for a 4th

Kind of just a placeholder team. Could be anywhere

          Fair enough
Lots of teams keep trying to send the Sabres these mid-tier goalies & it just doesn’t make much sense for us
I think we either “go big” & trade for a guy like Hellebuyck,
or we stick with what we’ve got (for now) and develop our young goalies

I would think BOS can't turn that down, too good of an offer, even if u keep Daws

Mercer would be ideal, but im sure hes untouchable for NJ
