You can't sit both those guys, they are essential for the PK and juat general crease clearance. But I would love to see if Perunovich can form a Dunn like tandem with Bortz this season.

You can do Scandella traded at half retention. Then sign Sunny with whatever you want for a year. Then you start Tucker in the minors. Lines would be:

Vrana - Thomas - Kyrou
Buchnevich - Schenn - Neighbours
Saad - Hayes - Kapanen
Toropchenko - Sundqvist - Blais
Leddy - Parayko
Krug - Faulk
Perunovich - Bortuzzo
Binnington - Hofer
Scr. MacEachern - Walker - Rosen

Why are people so infatuated with Sunny I pass on that. We still need to fix the D.

To be honest, I don’t think Armstrong saw much in terms of solid replacements in free agency for our defense. I think we lucked out not trading for Sanheim, which will become a second Krug deal in 4-5 years. I think we ride with our defense, give them one more shot. If they can’t do it, break it down. I think it’s easier to digest contracts when Leddy has 2 years left, Krug and Faulk have 3 years left. Parayko will have 6 but we are stuck with him, just need a good partner for him until Lindstein is ready.

?? It’s a well liked 4th liner that clearly wants to come back here, he’s also a great pker and can definitely help teach our C prospects during camps and when they get called up etc

Lastly if Armstong was gonna do something with the defence he would’ve by now

Not saying he was a decent Pker and well liked. But unless we moved a Saad or something we really dont need wingers. In my books Sunny is 4th line player or 13th man ( which is likely Mac Mac and Walker)

I’d rather have sunny than either of those tbh
Also sunny is a natural C and usually players there so

Are either Walker or MacMac able to be sent down without having to pass through waivers? IF so than maybe you still consider sunny Blais- Alexanderov- Torpo as the 4th line. Blais but solid number 9G 11A since his return and Torp had 19 points. Alexanderov had like 38 points in like 40ish games in the AHL and like 5 points in a handleful of games. I could easily see them all getting 25 to 30 point each.
