Description

To start the year, I would reunite Brady-Norris-Bath (1st line 2 seasons ago), put Joseph with Timmy and G to get Joseph rolling again (was good with Brady and Timmy for the 7 game stint last season). For the 3rd line, I would have Sokolov get the 1st chance on the 3rd line, see how he plays and Greig get 1st line AHL time and called up whenever.
I would consider running 11-7 this season with Hamonic playing 7th D but getting top PK time and scratching one of Kelly or MacEwan. Probably MacEwan since Kelly does play PK time and MacEwan does not.
Kleven could also make the team, but with 7 1-way contracts on D already, odds are he is forced to the AHL and play 1st paid (which isn't bad).

Something to note, if the Leafs buyout Murray (they might have to since they are over the cap), Sens would gain 1.3M in cap space this season, so they could afford a 3.8M player.

I think Ottawa is 1 solid top 9 forward piece away from being a really solid team this season. The D core and goalies are figured out.
