2.5M is going to be the pro-rated cap hit on February 24? How much is he signing for?

The whole idea hinges on a guy who's probably not going to be his normal self after he returns, at least not right away. That surgery he had could be career-ending.

How would they afford that if they are operating on LTIR?

As a Nashville guy, I'm not interested in bringing in Nylander for 3 players, 2 of which will likely become similar to him production wise in just a season or two.
